Denver Restaurant Week is a great way to try new places for dinner and find new favorite spots. There is always a solid lineup of participating restaurants serving a fixed price meal that many diners agree is well worth the price. But, like always, we can’t visit every single participating venue. We need to think wisely about where to dine. Here’s where we’re looking forward to enjoying…
This year Denver Restaurant Week is March 11-20, 2022. Click HERE to learn more, see all of the participating restaurants, and peruse their menus. We did all of that and compiled a list of where we want to go, in no particular order.
Cafe Aion- We love Cafe Aion in Boulder and think it is well worth a visit if you’re looking to explore outside of Denver. Local pro-tip: order the paella!
The Fort- Another fun spot outside of Denver proper is The Fort, a historic landmark restaurant serving new foods of the old west. Local pro-tip: Sit outside if it’s a nice day or grab a table with a view because they are outstanding!
Le French- This Parisian style bakery and cafe is owned and operated by a Senegalese French woman with serious culinary skills. Local pro-tip: Bring home some pastries.
The Preservery- Hands down one of our favorite places to visit on our food tours! We want everyone to try The Preservery. Local pro-tip: Make an afternoon outing out of it and explore the street art in the RiNo neighborhood before dinner.
Trompeau Bakery- Local pro-tip: Plan your weekly grocery shopping around your visit here as you will want to buy at least one artisanal loaf of bread.
MBP (Moods, Beats, Potions)- A new and upscale Black-owned eatery in Five Points with live entertainment.
Bang Up to the Elephant- Vegan beach shack meets neighborhood tropical bar. Skip the meat and enjoy a vegan meal. Local pro-tip: If you like spicy, order the Nose Ender cocktail.
Cuba Cuba- Family owned and operated since 2001. Local pro-tip: explore unique rums.
